Join us for a sweet experience that will enhance your knowledge and delight your tastebuds. We invite you to start a new tradition with Dutch Hill Maple!

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧: March 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 10am – 4 pm each day

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: The Dutch Hill Maple Sugarhouse at 1275 Woodmancy Rd Tully, NY 13159

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭: An open house showcasing the nostalgic art of making pure maple syrup, with a modern twist.

𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
o Demonstrations (as time allows) and a "Storybook" self guided tour
o Tasty offerings such as Maple Cream Donuts, Maple Cotton, Maple Coffee and more*.

o Samples
o Raffles, raffles, raffles!
o Food drive to benefit Food Bank of Central New York
o Your maple favorites available for purchase

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨:
*If you joined us for Maple Weekend last year, please note, this year will be a bit different. We have much more equipment than last year (when we had JUST started moving in to our new sugarhouse) and therefore much less space for certain activities. We unfortunately will not be offering a pancake breakfast this year. However, there will still be 𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 to see, learn and do.

- MAPLE WEEKEND COLORING CONTEST -

Return your child’s maple masterpiece to be entered to win a special gift from us.

- FOOD DRIVE -

We are so excited to again be working in partnership with Food Bank of Central New York!

Throughout Maple Weekend, we will be hosting our third 𝑩𝒆 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕, 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒂𝒕 food drive. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item donation with you. You will receive one raffle ticket for each item donated.

 

Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase. In addition to the food drive, all raffle ticket proceeds

will be donated to the Food Bank. Click here for a list of current raffle items.

Food Bank of Central New York is one of our favorite local organizations to support. This will be our fifrth year working with them in a fundraising and/or food drive capacity. We hope it's the best year!

𝐅𝐀𝐐’𝐬
𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭? Yes! There is no fee to attend. We will, however, have items available for purchase.


𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬? Yes.


𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲? Absolutely! Maple Weekend is a great family event for maple fans of ALL ages.


𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐠? Please leave pets at home. 𝐍𝐎 animals are allowed in the sugarhouse.


𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬? We will have portable restrooms available.


𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫? Please dress appropriately for the weather and conditions - maple season is often snowy or muddy. We recommend layers and boots. Please note, the sugarhouse is not currently heated.


𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭? Expect to have fun learning, exploring, and tasting!

All artwork will be displayed in our sugarhouse during Maple Weekend. We had a whole wall of colorful entries for our last coloring contest, including entries from across the country. Please share this post to get us closer to another beautiful wall this year. Happy coloring!

**Please read all contest rules:

• Entries must be returned by mail to: Dutch Hill Maple, PO Box 1065, Tully, NY 13159

• Must be returned by March 12th.

• Include the following information when returning: child’s name, age and parent/guardian’s contact information (phone number or email)

• Only 1 entry per child.

• Maple Weekend visitors will vote for their favorites. Winner will be announced after 3/25.
